No Helvetica on this

I managed to create this poster without helvetica. Me and my partner Patrick Buchanan work and live in Moscow, Russia. In August, there was a huge fire outside Moscow and since there was no winds and rain, the city was covered with ths fire's smoke. Breathing here without masks was tough.

Agency Spy (http://agencyspy.com) did a little interview with him. So, we created this poster to illustrate the story, without helvetica.

The story is here: (http://bit.ly/9FrQtJ)

Changing and blogging it

Stumble! took me to Inpired Magazine. This bags is part of the stationary work done for a blog named Blast'd.

And since Helvetica was used,

Default

It's true.

Manifesto

Why is Helvetica used pretty often? Because it's perfect. Whatever you want to say through type, Helvetica does it. Helvetica is stylish, simple and hated by some designers and art directors. But I have nothing against Helvetica!

The biggest proof is right above. I used Helvetica to design the logo :)
